Their wide beam angle allows LED G4 lights to illuminate large areas from a short distance. The brightness of G4 LED lights depends on the number and the size or performance of the LEDs in it. Our G4 LED light products contain two different sizes of LEDs: the 3528 SMD Power and the 5050 SMD Power LEDs. The larger - 5050 SMD - is obviously brighter and has a higher performance, so if you wish check the brightness of our G4 LED lights, check the size of the light-emitting diode as well as the number of them. All our LED G4 lights operate at low voltage DC: 12V or 8-36V, depending on the product. Therefore they cannot be connected to the mains directly, but you need a transformer. Transformers used with our LED lights need to be wire-wound or magnetic, constant voltage, stabilized, and DC. The lights also work with car batteries, and have a good voltage tolerance, so it is not effected by running engines on boats for instance if a higher voltage occurs for less than five hours for instance.
The colour temperature of the lights can be bright white and warm white. Those who are looking for halogen light replacement, warm white colour is suggested, as warm white G4 LED lights have the same, yellowish or sunlight-like colour as halogen lights. Bright white LED G4 lights are rather bluish, compared to halogen lights for instance, but emit a much brighter light. The bluish, clear white light creates a whole different atmosphere, and an all together brighter area.
