Description: Our G4, 12 SMD 5050 LED side pin light is suitable for illuminating shelves, cabinets and desks and can replace a 20W halogen G4 light, as it has great brilliancy. It has 120° beam angle illuminating large areas from a short (0.3 - 0.5m) distance too. Its main advantages are that it is cool running and highly cost effective, therefore suitable for home and commercial use too (up to 12 hours per day). In order to assure the full lifespan, which is 30.000 hours, and reach the optimal product performance, we strongly recommend using our waterproof LED driver/power supplies. Please note: Electronic transformers are not suitable for LED lights.

Recommendation: The 12 SMD 5050 LED G4 light is recommended to replace any 20W halogen G4 lights running at 12V DC, where relatively large areas need to be illuminated from a short distance. The product can be used in cars, trailers/caravans, boats, yachts or ships.

Economical calculations: Using a 20W halogen capsule (G4) over the lifespan period of 30.000 hours consumes 750KWh energy worth of £90.00 (based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh) while using a 2.4W, 12 SMD 5050 LED G4 light consumes only 72KWh  worth of energy £8.64 (based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh).
The overall saving based on a 30.000 hours lifespan and electricity cost of 12p/KWh is £81.36 on each light by simply replacing your conventional lighting with G4 LED lights.
