The 12 SMD 5050 G4 LED light can replace a 25W halogen light and with its 120° beam angle, it can illuminate considerably large areas even from a short distance of 30 - 50 cm. Economical calculations: Using a 25W halogen capsule (G4) over the lifespan period of 30.000 hours consumes 750KWh energy worth of £90.00(based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh) while using a 2.4W, 12 SMD 5050 LED G4light consumes only 72KWh  worth of energy £8.64 (based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh).
