Description: The MR11 LED spotlight is a mini-spot with a standard GU4.03 fitting. The light runs at 12V AC and DC as well, and contains 10 pieces of 5050 SMD power, warm white light-emitting diodes. Since the light has a long, 30 000 hours lifespan, and can be used for up to 12 hours a day, it is suitable for home as well as commercial use. Due to its wide, 120° bean angle, it can illuminate larger areas as well from a relatively short distance, emitting a diffused light. To assure the long lifespan of the product, and its optimal performance we strongly recommend the use of our 12V stabilized water proof power supplies.  It is suitable for replacing your 20W incandescent light with the power consumption of only 1.5W.  

When held in place by circlips, its ends should never touch the MR11 or MR16 SMD LEDs. Please always insulate the end of the circlip in such cases.

Recommendation: We recommend our MR11 5050 SMD LED spot for places where diffused light is necessary; to illuminate objects, pictures, cabinets, worktops etc.

Please note: Electronic transformers are not suitable for LED lighting. To guarantee the products lifespan, we recommend the use of our 12V stabilized water proof power supply.

Economical calculations: Using a 20W halogen spot light (MR11) over the lifespan period of 30.000 hours consumes 6000KWh energy worth of £72.00 (based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh), while using a 1.5W, 10 SMD LED MR11 mini spot light consumes only 45KWh energy worth of £5.40.

The overall saving, based on a 30.000 hours lifespan and electricity cost of 12p/KWh, is £66.60 on each light, which can be achieved simply by replacing your conventional lighting with MR11 LED lights.
