Description: The  20 pcs of 5050SMD LED spotlight, bright white - operating at low voltage 12V and 24V both AC and DC - is suitable for any general lighting for home and commercial use (up to 10 - 12hrs use a day). The SMD LED MR16/12V light`s huge advantage is the 120° bean angle, which enables us to illuminate larger areas from a short distance too. The MR16 SMD LED light`s brilliance equals to the 35W incandescent light bulb, but it consumes only 4W energy. The 8V - 30V LED light`s sizes equal to the conventional halogen spotlight`s, therefore these halogen spot lights can instantly be replaced by our LEDs. The 12V MR16 LED spot lights can be fitted into any standard size MR16 fix, movable and/or tilting housing or downlighters. For extra safety, the SMD LED MR16 light comes with a clear glass cover, therefore the LEDs are not exposed. 

Recommendation: Low voltage MR16 SMD LED light is recommended where 12V or 24V is available for general lighting, or to illuminate objects, pictures, cabinets, worktops etc., with diffused light.

Please note: Electronic transformers are not suitable for LED lighting.

Economical calculations: Using a 40W halogen spot over the lifespan period of 30.000 hours consumes 1.200KWh energy worth of £144.00(based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh), while using a 4W 20 SMD LED spot light consumes only 120KWh energy worth of £14.40.
The overall saving, based on a 30.000 hours lifespan and electricity cost of 12p/KWh, is £129.60 on each light, which can be achieved simply by replacing your conventional lighting with MR16LED lights.
