Description: The low voltage AC/DC, 20 SMD Power 5050 LED MR16 spotlight contains 20 pieces of light-emitting diodes, and can be used for the long period of time, up to 10-12 hours a day. Therefore it is suitable for not only home but commercial use as well. The 120 degree beam angle  is very wide, enabling us to illuminate large areas from a relatively short distance. This way the 20 SMD Power 5050 MR16 LED light is rather to replace general sources of lighting rather than spots. It has a power consumption of 4W, but replaces a 30W conventional light, and can only be applied where low voltage, 12V or 24V is available. The 5050 SMD Power LED is the larger size of light-emitting diode, guaranteeing a great brilliance to the light. For extra safety, the SMD LED MR16 light comes with a clear glass cover, therefore the LEDs are not exposed. 

Recommendation: The low voltage MR16 SMD LED light is recommended where 12V or 24V is available for general lighting, or to illuminate objects, pictures, cabinets, worktops etc., with diffused light. Warm white versions always emit a yellowish light,, resembling sunlight, and creating a cosier atmosphere.

Economical calculations: Using a 40W halogen spot over the lifespan period of 30.000 hours consumes 1.200KWh energy worth of £144.00(based on electricity cost of 12p/KWh), while using a 4W 20 SMD LED spot light consumes only 120KWh energy worth of £14.40 (based on electricity cost of12p/KWh).
The overall saving, based on a 30.000 hours lifespan and electricity cost of 12p/KWh, is £129.60 on each light, which can be achieved simply by replacing your conventional lighting with MR16 LED lights.
