There are two major arguments against the regulations. The most important is of course the price issue, since energy-saving solutions require a smaller amount of investment. This is especially crucial, if one has to change all their lights at once, however, energy-saving lighting quickly returns the money on the lighting bill. It is often claimed that even the cheapest energy-saving solution cost four times as much as a simple incandescent, not to mention long-lifespan solutions like LED lights, which are sometimes 10 times as expensive at the time of purchase. What the people preoccupied with the price of these lights do not take into consideration is obviously the long-term savings that can be achieved with the help of these lights. This is doubly true for LED lights, which have now developed into such a highly effective technology and long-term solution that they are worth buying for everyone. The price of LED lights also dropped to a price accessible for all. Their lifespan has grown to 30 000 or 50 000 hours, so they are almost changed only by the next generation.
