Indoor, 5050 RGB SMD LED strip light, Colour Changing

Colour changing LED strip light operates at 12V DC. The strip light has a silicone cover and an IP55 rating making it splash proof and recommended for indoor use or even at humid places. The indoor colour changing LED strip light is manufactured and sold in five metre rolls, but can be cut after every three LED units (every 100 mm) at the soldering points. To connect separate pieces, use our RGB 4 core wire and solder them together. If you wish to cut and re-connect the LED strip lights without hassle, our solder-less LED connectors are the solution for you. For easy fixing, the LED string light has M3 adhesive tape on its back.

To operate the RGB LED strip light you will need an RGB controller. You can run up to 10 metres of colour changing LED strip light with our 24 Key RGB controller or up to 20 metres with our RGB controller with RF Card remote; after every 20 meters connect a signal amplifier in the system. The RGB LED strip lights can be run with 12V DC batteries (for non-regulated batteries or higher voltage batteries, you can use a DC to DC 12V converter), or 12V DC LED suitable transformers. For the safe use of the LED strip lighting we strongly recommend our transformers, as unsuitable electronic transformers can ruin the LEDs. The size of the transformer depends on the length of LED strip light operated on it. If you need help in choosing the right power supply, do not hesitate to contact us.

Recommendation: The indoor RGB LED strip light is best for décor purposes, if you wish to change the atmosphere of the room from time to time. With the colour changing LED tape lighting you can also create mood lighting, background lighting, edge lighting, cabinet or shelf lighting, or use it even in kitchens, bathrooms and gardens. You can light letters, make different shapes, figures and can also be hidden behind stuccos or mouldings. It is ideal for restaurants, bars or clubs or hotels too.

Please note: Electronic transformers are not suitable for running these LED strip lights, but can ruin them, we strongly recommend using our water proof LED power supplies.

Flexible LED strip lights are flexible only to one dimensions, so do not twist them or turn them to the side, as that may break the wires inside!
